First things first: SLURL: Take the taxi to Hilarious.
If you want to take the long way, it’s the store next to mine on the wedding side of KessKreations.
Hilarious will showcase designs from Marissa Racecourse and me. I just hate stuff sitting in my inventory.
Yeah I know, a lot of pics!
Everythign is hand drawn, I used some tools like filterforge to make the plaid pattern and knit pattern.
The llama picture I took myself in Natural Bridge, VA.
So come and get some goodies.
Love,
So, I’ve been getting bolder with my SL blog. I’ve thought about separating blogs with my company’s blog but you know what? I have to manage about 8 installs of wordpress (for me and clients) and one more coming on the horizon. So no thank you! So what does this mean? You get all the things I love PLUS my creations in one fancy place!
ThomasD Felisimo and Ever Courtois are friends of mine. I’ve heard wind of silks and making silks for a while now and finally I get an IM that says, “Hey want to see the store?” Did I? OH HELL TO THE YES!
Silk and Satyr is a silk store and has silks for males and females. I’ve got very few pairs of silks but the few that I have cost me a fortune - in SL terms- and with that kind of cost I am pretty picky when it comes to silks.
First of all silks need to fit right. I can’t get crap in SL to fit me without tons of adjusting. In particular multi-primmed items like silks or jewelry. When I tried on Silk and Satyr’s silks (and I have like 4 pairs and plan to get more!) there was the usual adjustments but it didn’t take me a long time. To get an idea how long it takes me to adjust items, I have a pair of prim boots that took me 2 hours to fit my fat calves so they look good. These took maybe 5-10 minutes, max! That to me is a BIG BIG plus sign.
I also demand some good prim work and I’m frugal. Well the price of silks at Silk and Satyr are very reasonable. I think the most I spent was 600L for a set. That is a STEAL to me! The quality is well beyond that. Prims are aligned nicely and of a decent size. They stretch a large amount and maintain their shape.
Lastly, I want them to flow nicely. They need to flow when I dance.
These silks fit ALL these bills. And to prove it, I made a video!
First- the photo of the silks. Pardon my fat ass. I wasn’t shaping to skinny just for silks. There are chunky Goreans too, k thx bai.
Click on that pic to make it bigger. My picture certainly doesn’t do these silks justice.
Here’s a YouTube Vid I made of ThomasD, Dina, and I dancing in the store.
I suggest if you are into silks go there- they have an Unlucky chair, dollarbies, a group that doesn’t use your 25, gift cards, and the store is well built and a pleasure to shop in.
Well - I’m going to trackback to all the beauties who posted wonderful pictures of my stuff. I’m literally farting kitties and pooping rainbows because of the pictures people take wearing my stuff. (FYI: Farting cats HURTS)
First blog is shimon Writer and Emacha Yokosuka. I would love to meet the lovely avatar who took those gorgeous photos. I was sad to note those awesome leggings were a hunt gift.
Second blog is Mayaka who makes the BEST MEERKAT EVER! Look at how cute she is there!
You can translate those blogs into English using Google. I have to say they got the scoop on the hunts and gifts!
Thank you ladies!

Now, want to declare to the world you poop rainbows and fart cats? Phire Zuhra suggested this shirt on plurk and it was something I could do in an evening so I did.
How to get it? TP to Amira and walk up to the kitty. Say, “I fart kitties” in open chat (no quotes). Kitty will deliver you this shirt on different layers.
I apologize the image is not thumbnailed, I had problems and didn’t feel like fixing it.

Kristi Maurer did an awesome post regarding a plurk/blogger challenge: make a more realistic avatar. My 2L may not be worth something but I’ve got a roast in the crockpot and I’ve finished watched this seasons Office, so I guess you all are stuck with me.
Over 2 years ago I logged into SL and my avatar was over 6 feet tall. I chose her to have gray eyes- as I found gray eyes to be incredibly exotic (still do- curse you nature for not giving me them). I chose brown hair because I am a brunette and I made her face look to what I think is pretty.
Around that time, Marissa did projects in college relevant to hers (and, luckily, my) interests- one was in particular body image in Harry Potter books (If I am remembering correctly, Marmar correct me if I am wrong). We talk a lot about these kinds of things, along with other things that being friends for so long brings up and I shortened my av, squinted my eyes, made my nose a bit bigger, rounded my face, rounded my tummy, added more love handles and saddle bags until she’s the ideal that I *want* to be. Evolving from her HP and Virtual Infidelity paper she did her virtual body image paper which can be found here. If I can ever convince her, I think she should expand more on it, since it is such a great topic and it is a topic that is interesting to many people- on all levels. (being fat, black, purple, dragon, or whatever you are in SL etc…)
IRL I’m 5 feet tall, I’m fat, and I’m average looking. In Second Life my avatar is chunkier- I’d really say she’s a 14/16 (which is what I was before quitting smoking *shakes fist* UGH) and she looks similar to me (though I’d love to have my skins glow IRL, k thx).
So to post me and my avatar:
So, I’ve said it before, Kesseret helps Christine accept herself. Kesseret is who I aspire to be and who I am. All the time. I’m glad she’s evolved the way she has, because that means I’ve evolved in the last 2 years too.

I will tag marissa if she wants to do this…. but I’m not into passing this kinda stuff around. Most chain letters die with me, lol. (I am such a pooper, sorry!)
Kesskreations: I’ve created a cute punky skullish Alice outfit. It comes with prim skirt, cute sockies, top, and it has the cutest sculpted bow in the back. Hand painted (I did some of it on my lunch hour at work). My other is the Florence pin in pink pearls. Yes, it’s uber gorgeous and changes to all 3 metals.

Taco Taco Taco is offering up 4 items in the hunt. One is a cute lifeguard costume. Hilarious floaties! On the buttocks it says “On Duty”. Punny! Then she has 3 racerback shirts with awesome little sayings. Please click on the pictures for a better view!
I am creating a punkalicious Alice in Wonderland costume for the Tropical Escape pumpkin hunt. I may be late setting it out because I got caught up in something tonight but it WILL be there. After that, it goes in my Lucky Chair. (It’ll be cool enough to wear after Halloween).
